From time to time, WE Transport likes to recognize the efforts of some of our outstanding staff members. Amanda Smith is one of our most committed and hard-working drivers, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank her for her dedication and professionalism.
Amanda started working for WE Transport in 2009 as a bus attendant. She worked with driver Chris Constance on a United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island bus route. Chris coached Amanda on her bus driver training, and she became one of our Plainview School District drivers in 2010. She still drives that Plainview route to this day.
WE Transport Compliance Coordinator Ellen Eckes sees Amanda bright and early, every day, at 6:45 am doing her pre-trip preparation for daily her bus route. When it comes to her job performance, Ellen said that she can always, “count on Amanda to do it right.”
